Going back

Chapter 1

I walked past the Pharaoh and looked back,
"I understand why," I paused, "Give me some time."
"I'll talk to you later." He said flatly. I thought, maybe it was better for me to run away.
'Oh no you don't!' said the voice in my head. I found my self having an argument, in Egyptian, with myself. How stupid is that? At least only the Pharaoh understood me. Everyone looked at me blankly, and then the Pharaoh started speaking to me in Egyptian.
"You're arguing with yourself or a voice in your head?"
"Voice in my head." I mumbled, blushing.
He laughed heartily. It was a long time since I'd heard that type of laugh, it cheered me up. A little. I mounted my skimmer, and flew to a far off mountain. The others headed back to the condor. The pharaoh followed me, and when I landed, I walked to the edge and sat down, fiddling with my long ruby red hair. It's usually in a plait. But I've found that because I've been so stressed out lately, I like to fiddle with it while I'm thinking.
"Don't go to near the edge." Said the Pharaoh sitting beside me, "shall we talk now or later?"
"Now."
"Talk, anything on your mind you can ask me." He said looking into my eyes.
"Your here to get the promise, aren't you? From me."
"How did you know?"
"I saw the past. You were constantly there for me, and I promised to be your servant, as soon as I was old enough."

Chapter 2

"What was the other thing you said? Do you remember? I certainly do!" the Pharaoh laughed.
"I said…" I took a deep breath, "I said I'd kill myself to be with you." I looked out over the terra's, over the Atmos. The pharaoh saw my expression.
"You finally got a throne of your own kid; you don't need to sit on mine anymore." He said, trying to make the situation a bit funnier. He looked into my eyes, "Your eyes, they still shine like the Nile."
"My eyes change shade, with the mood of Egypt," I whispered, "Dark blue for depression, royal for a festive day, sky blue for happy. Everyone's always happy, in Egypt. It's like they're stuck in a second where they were happy."
"Not only do they change colours with the mood of Egypt, but they change with your mood too. You're important to everyone in Egypt, and when you just disappeared one day, everyone was seriously heart broken. We spent ages searching for you. Yet, we never found you.  Egypt forgot you, I never did. You broke my heart. You promised me so many things Louise, things you never gave me."
I looked at him, full of sorrow. Here I was facing someone, who I had promised plenty of things, in return for his kindness. Yet on the other hand, if I left now, the storm hawks would search for me, and knowing my brother Aerrow, he wouldn't give up on me, not as easily as I give up on my self.  I lay on the ground and said,
"Maybe I need to know more about my life in Egypt, to make my decision. If I ever make it."  The Pharaoh looked at me confused.

Chapter 3

As soon as I closed my eyes, I saw Egypt again.
This time, I was further back in time. I saw a little Girl, no more than 6 years old, on the streets, bawling her eyes out.
I immediately guessed it was me, I could tell, the sky blue eyes. A boy walked up to the girl and took her hand,
I would have guessed he was around 11 years old. He walked back to the palace and showed his father.
"Please can we keep her father? Pretty please?"
"No, you found her on the streets, she is not royalty and she will not be your sister."
"I don't want her to be my sister. I just want her to grow up in a safe home."
The boy's father sighed.
"If you must keep her then you raise her, not me." The boy nodded.  Then the dream skipped a year. I must have been a clever girl because I was already memorising Pi. She smiled, but turned when she heard a scream. The boy went white. He picked up the girl and ran through the palace to his father's room. He had been stabbed several times, all in different places.  A servant walked in, and gasped,
"You are the Pharaoh now, Atem? What do you want us to do?"
"Announce the death, make arrangement for a funeral. I won't go; I have to deal with Louise."
"Yes Pharaoh."
Time skipped again, we were back to the scene with my promise. But it paused, and ripped apart, I felt like my heart was being torn in two.

Chapter 4

I woke up with a start, and because I was in so much pain.
The Pharaoh looked at me.
"What's the matter?"
"Egypt, us, everything ripped in half." I felt pain surging through my body. I looked at my heel. "No wonder I'm in pain, I have poison pumping through half my body," I said pulling out the snake out of my heel, and throwing it into the wastelands. As soon as I'd chucked the snake, the pain started to ease. I was going white already.
"Maybe I'd better drive back?" suggested the Pharaoh. I nodded, it used less energy. I blacked out after I'd nodded but I woke up on the condor, at least. I woke up and fell out of bed. That isn't unusual to my crew, they were just about to sit down and eat when they heard a loud thump, then,
"Ow."
They all laughed, except Piper, she looked at Aerrow worriedly. He nodded. He came to see me. He stood at the door,
"Hey you okay?" I was rubbing my head.
"Yeah I think so. It's weird doing that everyday and not being use to it."
He walked over,
"Something's on your mind. Tell me."
"Egypt, that's what's on my mind, last time I saw it, it was torn in two, this time, it was ripped into little shreds." The Pharaoh was standing by the door.
"That's what happens when I'm not there. I'm going back now. I'll come back to talk in about a month, Yeah?"
I nodded. "The chariots will come with me. I need you to open the sky portal though."
"How?"

Chapter 5

"I don't know, how did you feel when dark ace said Egypt would never back you?"
"Pretty angry, filled with rage and resentment."
"There's your answer, you need to be very angry to open the portal. But who can make you that angry again?"
Me and Aerrow growled,
"Cyclonis."
Aerrow flew to cyclonia, with me following and the Egyptian forces behind me. Aerrow left us on the docks, and went to see cyclonis. About 5 minutes later they came out together.
"So you want me to make you angry, Dolphin, what do you want me to say?"
"How about you just shut up! You're presence makes me angry." I shouted at her.
We both growled at each other. Then behind me the sky portal opened. The Pharaoh came up behind me, and hugged me.
"Thank you Louise. I'll see you soon"
He walked over to the sky portal, and looked back at me. Then he stepped into the sky portal. I collapsed as soon as the every one of the Egyptians had gone in, behind the Pharaoh. Aerrow ran to me. But I was a fast mover, and I had already mounted my skimmer. I flew off, far away from Aerrow and the condor.
I sat down as soon as I reached the edge of the mountain; I put my head in my hands. I never like getting angry, because I never know what's going to happen to me. I started crying, sometimes my life is to much, even for me to handle. And sometimes the only way I can sort it out, is to forget it. A spirit appeared by me, but it wasn't the magician of black chaos, it was a girl, like the one in my dream. It was my Egyptian spirit.
"You can't forget him, as long as you have something to do with Egypt, and I'm something to do with Egypt, because we are one, and he raised me."
Back in a dream? or back in my head?
i'm sure thats what Dolphin would say... Lmao,
Enjoy!
